We’re excited to share some big news about the future of your gym! Pursue Fitness has reached an agreement with Physiq Fitness to take over operations of the Pursue Springfield location, with the official transition date set for December 4th, 2025.
Physiq Fitness is a family-owned and operated company that began in 2007 and has grown to multiple locations across Oregon and Arizona. Like Pursue, Physiq is built on community, connection, and a shared passion for helping people live healthier, stronger lives.
What This Means for You
- ]Your membership will automatically transfer to Physiq Fitness — no action is required on your part.
- ]The gym will remain open and fully operational throughout the transition.
- ]You’ll soon gain access to Physiq’s expanded benefits — including:

- Access to all Physiq Fitness locations across Oregon and Arizona (based on membership level)
- The Physiq Fitness mobile app for class scheduling, check-in, and workout tracking
- A member referral program and rewards program for exclusive perks and savings
- Continued upgrades and enhancements designed to improve your overall fitness experience
The Physiq Vision for the Future
Over the next 12 months, Physiq plans to invest heavily into Pursue Fitness to elevate your training and recovery experience. Planned upgrades include:

- A revamped recovery zone with new massage chairs, saunas, and more.
- Small group training classes and a new Glute Lab featuring all-new glute-specific equipment.
- Expanded free weight area with additional plate-loaded and free weight equipment.
- New paint, upgraded lighting, refreshed layout, and new upholstery throughout the gym.
- And much more — because we believe that just as each of you come here to better yourselves, we must continually improve ourselves as well.

We understand that change can bring questions, and we want to make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way. Over the coming weeks, you’ll see some updates around the gym and may meet members of the Physiq Fitness leadership team. They’ll be available to answer questions and help make the transition smooth and positive.
