Landon Burningham

Hobbies:

Landon stays focused on his goals and works hard in training not only his clients but him self as he continues to compete in track and field. He loves spending time with his wife, son Gage daughter Luxe and enjoys the Oregon summers wake boarding. Besides being a dad and starting his own fitness center at twenty-five years old, Landon considers one of his greatest accomplishments to be the honor of being named the “New Comer of the Year” in the NCAA Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Brandon Bennet

VP of Training

Bio:

Brandon was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has nearly 11 years of management experience in the fitness industry proving to be proficient at club management and overseeing the hiring and development of trainers for over 25 gyms. He enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Haylee, daughter Haven and son, Tyce. Brandon loves watching sports and rooting for his favorite teams; the Utah Jazz, Denver Broncos and Utah Utes.

Hobbies:

Brandon stays focused on his goals and continually hones his training and nutritional guidance skills by competing in natural bodybuilding. One of his accomplishments includes winning the NPC Mr. Natural Utah competition in June of 2013. Brandon like to spend his time in the gym doing a mixture of strength training, speed,agility and quickness exercises.

Jake Hales

Downtown Club Manager / Stretch Therapist

Bio:

Jake was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. He is the youngest of three brothers, all of which he claims are bigger and stronger than him. Having big brothers drove Jake to be extremely competitive. Jake spent most of his childhood playing soccer but switched to Lacrosse in high school. Why? He wanted to hit people with a stick! He brings this same drive to the gym, striving to make every experience with a client an excellent one.

Hobbies:

Jakes hobbies include Jiu- Jitsu, hiking, camping, backpacking, rock climbing and generally anything that has to do with being outdoors. He loves meeting new people and takes a genuine interest in the wonderful stories and experiences they have to share.!

Erica Kreilley

When Erica is not in the gym, she enjoys playing sports, snowboarding, biking, hiking and trying new outdoor activities.  Erica also enjoys traveling, finding adventures, and trying new foods around the country and around the world.

Janelle Miranda

Lead Group Instructor/Personal Trainer

Bio:

Janelle was born and raised in Tucson, AZ, she and her husband Marty relocated to Salem, OR in the year 2000 to give their children a better quality of life by living in a slower paced community. She danced and choreographed throughout her high school years. After finishing from high school started training to become a fitness instructor so she could travel the world, but life soon took her in a different direction, a bigger dream came true. Being a wife and mom took priority.

Janelle’s fitness career started a personal challenge in May of 2009 and soon became a passion. Her love for fitness and the physical, mental, and emotional benefits is what motivates her to encourage all people, from all fitness levels to exercise. She strives to motivate encourage and push everyone to his or her goals.

Janelle is incredibly motivated and driven to make things happen. She has created and implemented two of our most popular formats for Physiq Fitness. Being positive and open to continued education and learning as much as she can, Janelle has shown us that fitness is a lifestyle, this is not something that changes overnight it is something learned and developed over time and consistency. 

Hobbies:

When Janelle is not in the gym she enjoys spending time with her husband of 26yrs, children, grandchildren and critters. She loves new adventures, hiking in the Pacific Northwest, and cooking. She also enjoys reading if you can get her to sit still long enough to actually read.

Lindsey Garrin

Personal Trainer

Bio:

Lindsey was born in Albany, OR and raised in Salem on a small cattle farm. She studied business management at Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA where she was a full time student and a track and field athelete. Lindsey was recruited to help manage Physiq South front desk about 4 months after the gym opened. The full time hours put in at the gym reminded Lindsey how much fitness feels like home. “I love coming to work, a huge facility full of people who are here for the same reason…to make themselsves healthier and stronger individuals.” After a year and a half of front desk management, Lindsey obtained her NCCPT and Trigger Point certifications and moved into the training department to teach our members how to maximize their time spent in and out of the gym. “I found health, happiness, and satisfaction through fitness. I want to spend the rest of my life helping others do the same.”

Hobbies:

Automotive mechanics, Snowboarding, longboarding, olympic lifting, functional cross-training, and floating (whether its a lake or a river, on a boat or an inflatable turtle…sunshine and water is the way to go).

Ben Barrantes

Personal Trainer

Bio:

Ben was born in Chandler, Arizona. He has seven years personal training experience as well as an educational background in fitness. Including a B.S. in Exercise Science, and a minor human biology. He started getting serious and devoting his time to fitness when he was about eighteen years old. At first it was a passion for general fitness and the sport of track and field. This quickly progressed to a lifestyle change and a career interest as well. In his free time he continues to pursue his education as his ultimate goal is to take his passion about the body and use his skills in the field of physical therapy. The end goal, is for him to obtain his Doctorate’s of Physical Therapy. Ben has experience shadowing physical therapists in several departments. Including outpatient ortho, in-patient rehab, neurology, pediatrics, aquatics, and acute settings.

Ben enjoys spending his free time hanging out with friends and lifting weights.

Zach Conklin

Bio:

Zach was born in Henderson, Nevada but has only known Salem, Oregon as home. At an early age, Zach displayed talent and enthusiasm for sports. He dabbled with many but has found his true passion is playing golf. After graduating from Sprague High School, he took a job at a local golf course. He also took a course in golf and other sports-related subjects at Chemeketa Community College. It was in this time that he realized his desire to be active in the health and fitness industry. This realization led to the completion of a nationally recognized personal training certification program through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Hobbies:

Prior to his employment at the new Physiq Fitness South Salem location, Zach could be found nearly every day in the original Physiq located in downtown Salem. He has shown great discipline in his own personal development. The core value of “sticking with it” is something that he will use to help others reach their full potential. When Zach is not in the gym, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and keeps active on the basketball court and on the greens.

Bio:

Levi was born in Coos Bay, Oregon. Exercise began as a general passion for Levi while competing in football, motocross, cheer and kickboxing. It was during that time that he fell in love with the industry and realized what he wanted to do for a career. Levi has two years personal training experience as well as an educational background in fitness including a B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor Sports Leadership. He enjoys watching motocross, Netflix and going to the drive in theater with his wife and dog.

Levi enjoys riding dirt bikes, obstacle races, downhill mountain biking, snowboarding and being with his wife and dog.

Bio:

Audrey was born in Corvallis, Oregon. Since her freshman year of high school her passion has been track and field. She was a part of the cross country and track and field teams at Western Oregon University for 4 years. During her time as a student athlete she earned 3 school records, several all-conference awards, and was an Academic All-American. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science and completed her internship at the Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center at the General Albany Hospital. Audrey loves working with people and realized that putting her passion for both people and health and fitness together would be a dream career – and she found that in personal training.

Hiking with her dog, working on creative projects, and spending time with her family and friends.

Ryan grew up in Keizer, Oregon.  It became clear to Ryan, after educating himself in health science and exercise physiology for his own health and fitness goals, the improvement he derived from a quality focused workout was so profound, that what he wanted to pursue as his life career was to be able to guide clients on how to get and stay physically fit and healthy.

Ryan is a lifelong student he enjoys listening to podcasts and reading up on the latest research in exercise and nutrition. He loves getting outdoors, traveling, trying new foods, and meeting new people.
